Verve is a compact looking cup shell chair, made for many uses. It has a rather low and compact visual impression, yet a sense of spaciousness and safe shelter can be experienced when sitting in this comfortable chair. Each meticulously developed leg finish provide a unique solution for purposes from dining, casual hang outs, conference to office situations.

The shape of the shell develops interesting ambiguous properties when looking closer – both basic geometric forms circle and square come together in a unique way. Polygonal elements such as the square shaped seat area and the triangular shaped flanks melt together in smooth transitions. Basically the design formula of the shell starts with a schematic approach in parametric geometry, while it results in a rather organic and smooth looking shape – this main characteristic of Verve aims to explore what is essentially contemporary in furniture design.
